The British Virgin Islands are about the sea. Islands of all sizes dot the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean and the Atlantic creating one of the world's most varied and beautiful sailing grounds. Dozens of charter boats from bareboats to privately owned luxury crewed yachts ply our waters offering a myriad of ways to cruise the BVI and visit the islands' peaceful anchorages, beach bars and waterside restaurants. For those staying on land and want to take to the sea, day sailboats offer a day of snorkelling and exploring, often including lunch and drinks in the package.
There are other ways to sample the sea. Divers love the area's pristine reefs, shipwreck sites and deep coral encrusted canyons. For thrills and spills, sailboards and kiteboards are for rent and if you want to explore the area's serene coves and bays try taking out a kayak. There is deep sea fishing and fly fishing as well. In the BVI, the sea and its many pleasures are never far away.
